Funny one Chuck....You just cant let it die. At this point I am getting desperate enough to buy them from Cap if he had a pair.

If anyone has a decent pair of carpet hold downs for a 64 valiant...please help me out. Need to finish interior project.

Someone has to know where to get these hold down plates replaced. I will take anything in good condition. Planning on powder coating them.

Are convertible hold downs different from the 2 door hardtop? If convertible only, wouldn't 65 and 66 fit as well or are they different from the 64s?

Not sure but would love to have the answer. That could make it easier to find a pair.

My understanding is that 63-66 2 door Abody carpet hold downs are the same. If anyone has a pair for sale I am interested.

Someone please enlighten me on this. I spoke with a salvage yard today and they tell me these carpet hold downs keep the car from rusting and will almost always be rotted out. If that's the case then how do you restore the interiors of these abodies? I can't believe no one makes an aftermarket reproduction. Anyone?
