carter 1 barrel missing something.

I don't know what it is called but I know why it won't idle....the bracket that the idle screw adjust against seems to be missing? I will try to post the pics. At least if someone can tell me what it is actually called so I can begin my quest to find one I would be thankful.

I believe they call it a fast idle cam.

You are correct sir! Took the carb to the carb man in my area, he is going to find the part and give me a call. My pop and I jury rigged a bolt with some washers on it for the idle screw to seat against and took it for a spin around the park. It was spectacular! Talk about stoked! Woot woot!
