[WANTED] Carter BBD for Slant

Anyone got a Carter BBD or know of someone that’s got one new nos? I had this one rebuilt by a local shop and it ain’t right of course, my luck! Car is a 71 with the super six setup.

What's wrong with it? I have one that I got with a super six manifold but I really don't know if it's the original carb. It has a lot of the smog ports typical of the late 70s. I used a different carb so this one is available.

is there a certain list number you want? i am not sure i have a bbd but know i have a couple of later holleys that came off 85-87 trucks. can look tomorrow if need to for you.

Were you 100% sure it was the carburetor to begin with? Without proper diagnosis, you are likely to never find the problem.

Somehow I have accumulated a pile of BBD's. Some are crusty but others look nice. I haven't run any of them so I'd consider them as needing a rebuild. Shoot me a PM if interested.

The knowledge of these guys here can help you diagnose your problem. It might be time to put away the check book and dive into fixing it yourself. It's obvious the people you have been paying aren't good at what they do. Carter carbs are very simple.
