case question

ok well not too happy that i ended up with a 741 case on my dart when i bought it so i was wondering a few things.
rite now its a 741 case 8-3/4 with 391 and suregrip.
Its running in a 69 dart big block with some lightweight parts and going to go as light as i can on the car without cutting up stuff too bad.
Car is high 12's and hoping to get down to 12 flat or even high 11's if i can,
How much will the 741 case take? Im trying not too dig too terribley deep if i dont have to get a different case but im trying to see if it will hold up.
also i cant find gear sets for this case... only for the 742 so were can i get the 741 gears? thanks guys/gals

I think you'll be fine. While the 741 has the smallest pinion of the the three 8.75's it is still bigger than the Ford 9".

Do a search on Motive Gear. They sell gear sets for the 741. I run a 3:55.

had a FRIEND RUN THE 741 CASE FOR 5+ YEARS WITHOUT A problem..
he ran 12.20-12.40's small block dart.
