It's a temperature operated vacume switch
Do you have the specs?
They exist, but finding the right threads, temperature and function will be the issue.

The other number is out of the parts book.
383091 MIGHT be a supersedes number or visa versa

Where would I find one of those? I am assuming I need it since it is vacuum?

If the local parts house can't get a replacement by part number.
You have a couple options

The number 3830981 is an identification number, not the Chrysler catalog number. 3837622 is the correct Chrysler catalog part number. If you want one that looks like the original switch, you will have to find a good used one. All the replacements, including Chrysler 3837622 do not look like the original switch but function the same. The replacement switches appear to have 3 vacuum ports, but the center one is just a locating stud used on some models. The switch is activated when the temperature reaches 60 to 65 degrees. Examples can be seen by searching eBay with the number 3837622.
