Recently, I bought a cheap single barrel intake to go on the 225. The other is in rough shape. However, I have concerns about the two valves featured in the title. The intake I bought does not feature a EGR hook-up which will obviously disrupt the connection to the CCEGR. What exactly will happen if the EGR is not able to connect to the CCEGR? My ride is already running like garbage and I am really trying my best to improve it's state.

Do you need OE smoge stuff hooked up in TX to register your car?
If not. You could remove the EGR related parts. Make block off plates / plugs and move on.
Keep all the stuff you take off, you never know when California will invade THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS
