how hard is it to find a automatic center console for a 70s a-body? my sport has a bench front seat, and thinking about switch to buckets with a center console. also will a slap stick setup work with the console? I can get a slap stick setup, and been thinking on using it in my sport if I can find a console, hell I might try and make a e-body console fit, but like the shape of the factory a-body consoles

auto consoles are pretty easy to find at swap meets and someone will chime in here also. it is the 4-spd ones that are like hens teeth. The automatic bodies are the same from 67 to 76? the tops are a little different through the years.

There are 5 or 6 on Ebay right now, ranging from $75 to over $400 depending on condition.

Awesome, I'm pretty sure my father gas a complete slap stick assembly from a late b-body (Cordoba/magnum) that I can probably get off him that I would like to put in my sport if I can find a console cheap enough
