I just took my flywheel to get it resurfaced at a driveline and clutch
shop. The counterman asked me what i was running for a clutch setup.
I told him Centerforce Dual Friction.I told him the pressure plate was
good, but i am going to replace the disc.He asked if i had heard of a
ceramic button clutch.I had not.The flywheel side is organic and the
pressure plate side has ceramic pads on it.I wonder how this would
work in my 340 Demon. He says it will work well and last quite a bit.
I value the opinions of my fellow members. Thanks. I will get a pic
tomorrow. Girlfriend has my camera.

I contacted Centerforce and told them what i had. The tech advised me
not to use it with the pressure plate i had. The plate is the one with the
Dual Friction clutch set up. He said the ceramic buttons would be too
harsh with that plate. I took the disc back and got my money back. The
counter man said The Centerforce tech was wrong, and that it would be
fine to use with that plate. The counter man has been in the clutch
business for 20 years. I do not want to chance having to replace the
clutch again any time soon, so i am buying a Centerfoce disc. I would have
liked to try it too see the results, but replacing the clutch with the
Lakewood bellhousing is no fun.
