Challenger Gas Cap On A '71 Swinger

Just a different idea thought. Has anyone tried a Challenger gas cap (non-flip) on a '71 Swinger? It would be different, but I don't know if it would fit/seal/line up etc...
Any thoughts?

Won't fit or look right —*the recess in the Dart quarter panel isn't deep enough.
