1970 8.75 Challenger rear in an A body. Whats it going to take? Move spring perches and a hefty backspacing on the rims?????

I got a E body rear in my 73. Move the spring perches in
to the A body width. As far as wheels. I have 15x7 with
4.5 in back space. I fit 255/60-15 in no problems. You
could even go bigger with a little more measuring.
Good luck , Green Duster.

You can make an e body axle fit, drum to drum is 61.6 " on E bodies, earlier B body axle is 59.5- 60.0 " (66-70), A body axle is 57.1 ". Hope this helps.

I got myself an e-body rear in my even tighter early-Abody. It look some custom wheels with a large backspacing to fit, but it works. If I was to do it again, I would try and find a early b-body rear end though - just makes life easier in-terms of finding a set of wheels.
