after looking at the prices for lockup stalltorqeconverters how hard is it to put and input shaft from a nonlockup 904 which i have in the lockup 904 i know it can be done but what all is involved

You'll need the input shaft, the pump reaction shaft and possibly the rear clutch drum that matches the non lockup reaction shaft.

Valve bodies are also different.

so i'd need the nolockup vavlebody thats the only thing missing on the 904 nonlockup i got, smr qoteed me a price of little over 4 for a lockup stall made for my combo is that good? i've found em as low as 189 for the non lockups

With converters you get what you pay for. More expensive isn't necessarily better but cheaper is never better.

I have personal experience with Turbo Action and highly recommend them. Others have had good experience with others like Coan, TCI, Dynamic, ATI,
A1, Winters, and others.
