changing oil filter on 318

[uk-barracuda]

going to be changing the oil filter on my 67 barracuda, rhd, but the steering box is in the way, any ideas how i could get the oil filter of,

could i jack the engine up ?? if so how far could i jack it up before something snaps.

any ideas would be great, its a 318

Can you post some pics of the area for us? Sounds like you might want to line up a 90* oil filter adapter before you do the job. That or use a short WIX filter so you can get more clearance in there.
