Changing rear end oil on a 8.25 355 suregrip

Hello out there lol I'm changing the oil in my 74 dodge dart can a guy spray the inside of the pumpkin and gears to get all the old gear oil out or what is best

If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Assuming the oil that came out was not full of metal shavings or sand, rocks, water etc. I would just wipe what I can reach and button it up and refil.

That is what I'm going to do it actually cleaned up really good

Some to a lot of the gunk ends up in the axle tubes.................. which you can't get out anyway with the axles and seals still in there.
