No that's not a typo in the title:smile:
I am running a BBD on my '74 daily-driven Valiant 318. I am switching to a 7041180 Rochester 2GV, the '71 1-year only one for a couple different reasons.
One of those reasons is that the BBD is a reman and does not have a bowl vent. When the engine heat soaks the mixture is rich because of the fuel vapor and as a result there's always a long crank time.
There's the reason for the question: My charcoal canister has three ports- bowl, tank and purge. I know where they all go, or did go. But, now there is no purge port on the carb like there was on the BBD.
So, where does that purge line need to connect...manifold vacuum or ported vacuum?
Thanks for your help.
