chassis rust prevention and other stuff

hi I am cleaning up restoring a 1967 barracuda . i am posting pics of the rust which appears to be surface . i am looking for suggestions on eliminating and preventing future rust . also I would like to replace the rear diff with an 8-3/4 if anyone has one let me know thanks. larry

Rust? what rust?:dontknow: I would wire wheel it then spray it down with Ospho or similar rust neutralizer/converter then prime and paint or undercoat.
