Ok, for those of you who are a tight budget (like me) I've found a great way to save a few bucks.
As many of you do, I dread painting my engines with the HEMI orange paint you get from Mopar, It's expensive, it goes on like water , it takes FOREVER to dry, and takes 30 cans to shoot one engine. ( ok maybe not) But you get my point. I found a color that's SUPER close for dirt cheap, it's Krylon "farm & implement" part # 1820 Allis Chalmers Orange. I got these for $1 a can at a local store. It goes on super glossy & dries fast. & if you're a purist you can use it as a base coat, & then shoot a coat of HEMI orange over it (like I did) for the "correct" color.
This is my "C" body oil pan I painted today, for my 440 Duster project. :-D
