This guy just moved into the shop next to me..

He's been tuning carbs his entire life. Those are webber blocks grafted on to a dominator 1150. The motor runs two of em.....

I think this fella may be able to teach me a thing or two.
I may have him rework my 950.

yeah, thats what i thought.

I take pride in my carb tuning but dam, this guys got me beat dead..
looking forward to picking his brain...

2,000 for a carb.. I think I will just stand around and learn..

Would his name be Troy by any chance?

damn!! that's pretty awesome - gotta admit, I 1/2 expected to see your "new" 950 with some mods...
on an unrelated note: a bunch of us want to know what the heck is going on with you and the woman!? you fired off the post and never came back - you're killing us here!!

I have never even heard of speed talk?

or did you mean HE got kicked?

anything I should know about his work? or was it just general internet *** hattery?

I tried to get him to build me a carb back in 2000 or so. He just never got it done, and I wouldn't pay up front.

Then in 2012 my buddy found him and wanted him to do up a pair of tunnel ram carbs. For what he wanted I could have Dale Cubic, Bob Book, Bo Laws or Taylor Lastor do them, for less money and you don't have to screw with the obsolete plates he uses. Modern metering plates have made the Weber plates pretty much nothing more than an extra PITA.
