*sigh* ;(
well my brother is a chevy guy, thats kind of a problem, he has an 85 4x4 pick up, 350 and thats pretty much all I can tell you. The front drive train gears are out and we need to know where to find the new ones.

He is bringing the front train over so I can try to get some numbers off of it.
I cannot believe I am asking this but, Can anyone on here help us with this?

The front gears should be the same as the rear (the gear ratio). I think this is what your asking. Anybody that sells rear gear should have those. You just need to know what the front axle is (i.e. Dana 44, GM 14 bolt, etc...)

well you can just leave it in 2wd and he can drive it w/o the front end gears. Look on the front housing if its a Dana 44 there will be a 44 written on one of the axle tubs.

Check out LMC truck I get parts for my plow truck there.

Depends on what kinda transfer case it has. Some of them spin the ring and pinion even disengaged. Safest thing to do is drop the drive shaft. It's probably a D44, btw.
