Chrome ecu in place of a orange one

Is it ok to use a chrome 4 pin in place of an orange 4 pin ecu? orange one will no longer start the car,no spark. Used chrome one will. Just dont want to mess anything up.

Yup, no problem. The chrome box is good to 8K rpm while the gold is accurate to 10K with minimal spark scatter.

You`re welcome, but I see the color has changed. The orange box is basically the entry level box which is good to about 6K. The chrome box would actually be an improvement.

Glad we got the right responce. chromes supposed to be more accurate above 6500
