If acid did not disolve the chunks then who knows what it is. I was thinking mineral buildup.I put some in vinegar so lets see. Here the thermostat after i removed it
Hard water is still hard water even after a water softener…could make it worse for a cooling system. The vinegar to this point has bleached the color out of them. They are pure white now like a crack rock lol. Maybe i could make a few bucks lmao. The well water thing is a good point. Im wondering if my dad topped it off at the farm. Its stored there and he has drove it a few times and they have a well
You can always have more children......Wash then in plain water and report back.
Did they disolve, are they hard, mushy .
MIGHT be cooling system sealer?
If you are brave touch one piece after washing to the tip of your young and report back on the taste, salty, dirty acidic,
I miss Virginia’s water, this water heats sucks. We've been out in the country now 20 years and well water is all I've ever used. I've never had any issues whatsoever. None. Zero. Zilch. This water is some of the hardest I've ever seen, too. Sure does taste good though. lol
I think it all depends on WHICH minerals are in the water as to how it reacts. Evidently I got lucky. I know I should use distilled water, but I never have and have never had an issue.I miss Virginia’s water, this water heats sucks.
