Now see, the right thing to do would be for a cop to go visit this person and if they can't produce both trucks arrest them for conspiracy to commit fraud.

But, nooooo

In my mind it fits under "To Serve and Protect"
 
Two different phone numbers too! I wonder which one is the scam?? Or both???

Would be nice to show up to look at them while open carrying!! We could in Virginia, not sure about Washington and Tennessee.
 
the washington looks scammed. The other has multi photos and info. the Black truck could br a pic he took passing by someones house...jmo

black truck also has "hemi" fender badges, not saying ive never seen a vehicle rebadged but its interesting
and the tan truck has a VIN number listed...a bad one, but still :banghead:
 
I think both are scams. I didn't bother to try and phone. Don't know whether it's bait and switch, or some sort of "phishing" deal

That's the sorry part of it. Thanks to our magnificent *cough* legal system, PD's can't take action without an actual loss (and thus fraud) having been committed.
