Clips for hood hinges

My hood hinge clip popped off and is MIA. What is an alternative replacement for it. I searched the site and saw they are round push on timber man. The ones I have where a U shaped clipped. Maybe that’s why it popped off. For 67 barracuda

I just drilled the hinge pins on the body, and installed washers and cotter pins. Clevis pins would work too.

These might work on a 64-65, not sure about 67:

I had the driver's side push nut fly off today. The body shop manager tried to align the hood on a '65 Formula S by pushing it over while standing on the passenger side. We heard a high-pitched "clink" sound and I found it with a mechanics long-arm magnet. I don't see any other way to adjust the hood left or right besides shoving/pushing on the hood in the direction you want it to go.
