I am converting a small block automatic trans '68 'Cuda to a big block (440) 4-speed trans. I got hold of the brake/clutch pedal assembly from an honest FABO member (BubbaC).
I looked in my '68 MOPAR service manual to see what else I needed, but I noticed a small difference between the "regular" assembly and the 383 assembly, notably a different arrangement of the 'over center spring'.
Is there any problem with running a 440 through the supposedly /6-smallblock assembly?
I figured that I would have to purchase the entire clutch linkage anyway, so I might just put in a hydraulic clutch (my wife also wants to drive the car and I figure it might be easier for her with the hydraulic clutch).
