I have just fitted a new centreforce dual friction clutch in my 69 340 swinger. Centreforce info says to remove the clutch pedal assist spring. Thats fine. I seem to find conflicting advice on fitting a limit stop to prevent the last inch of clutch pedal travel. Has anyone any experience of this? Is it to prevent the clutch going over centre?
Thanks Paul

i welded a large nut on my pedal then inserted a threaded rod about 4 inches long with a rubber cap on it. then adjusted the rod so it would hit the floor right after the clutch engaged. i only did it for less pedal travel, quicker shifts
