Clutch Safety Switch Help

Does anyone know how the Clutch Safety Switch is installed. Maybe a pic installed? Mine was missing so I have no reference.
 
Bypass it and start it in neutral. Your crank thrust bearing will thank you.

+1 on that. It also makes it a PITA any time you need to start or crank while working on it...get in, push in clutch, turn key. I think it was some sort of government requirement in the early 70s.
Any car I ever had that had one, it got disconnected pronto.

Hey awesome, thank you so much. That's exactly what I needed.


FYI Gentlemen, a clutch safety switch is still required on all cars. My SRT Challenger has it. I am not concerned about my thrust bearing over safety. People have been injured or killed when thsee safeties are bypassed. Just my .02 cents.
