Coil wire connectors

74 Duster, One of my coil wires was a little frayed, so I clipped it and put on a new (cheap) little eye connector. You know, the ones that come in the little kits that are color coded. Is that good enough or are the better (higher quality) little round connectors? What do you guys think?

That is a fine connector as long as it's crimped properly. You need to use the appropriate crimp tool for insulated terminals.

ok- I have a standard crimper

I wouldn't trust one of those for my ignition unless it was soldered.
As far as the ring part goes they are fine.
