Well, as I posted in another thread on how my Tach signal could only be picked up off the (+) side of my coil, which I knew was wrong, I did some surfing and found out that the the wires can actually be reversed without any problem, as long as all of the positives and negitives are switched together. Here's a quote from a MSD Tech I found online:

"There shouldn't be any damage if all the negative wires were on the same terminal and the positive wires were on the same terminal as well.
For peace of mind you may transfer the wires to the respective terminals, the markings basically act as a reminder."
