I am in the process of finishing up my wiring and I have swapped from an msd blaster to a accel racing coil. I am using a 73 dart wiring harness and chrome box. On my new coil instead of the normal + - it has batt and dist listed for the terminal lugs. I am assuming that the batt is the same as + and the dist is the same as -? Am I correct? Also my tach wire goes to the - side also correct?

That seems right, but to be safe just unhook both wires and then check which wire has current when the ignition is turned on. That would be the + or BAT side.

YES bat is pos

"Dist" was in the days of points ignition

This is great for NEG ground vehicles, but "there were a few" 12V vehicles which were POSITIVE ground!!! (White trucks, I think)

X2 (Batt is ignition keyed power +, and distr. is negative and also where your tach goes.)
