how cold are we talking?i live in the mountains,it gets pretty cold here.maybe not as cold as where your from(i know it gets really cold up north)but cold enough.ive owned a few cars and trucks with healthy cams.one was my daily driver for years.it had an electric choke and worked perfectly during winter once i got it dialed in correctly.

I always run a little less power valve then holley suggest.
This makes a motor run very clean at idle and it's also better at start up.
Bump the front jet one size,this will also help at start up.:-D
