Yesterday I was pulling the door glass out of my ‘65 GT convertible when I found this wrapped around the rod from the door lock to the lever. It’s a copy of the Sunday, May 5th, 1968, Minneapolis Times. The car was only three years old then, and I have no idea why they did this. The original anti-rattle material should have still been good. You just never know has gone on with an old car. The car is still around 57 years later - and so are Blondie and Dagwood. Happpy Thanksgiving to everyone.

It was just a lot of fun to discover it. I’m sure many people have had similar experiences. It was also fun to think about what was going on in my life on that date.

I bought a pr of nos 69 Monaco tailight lenses in original box. Wrapped in a newspaper ad from 69 advertising the charger I think. I'll look for pics

Not newspaper but found a pair of panties behind headliner next to rear window when I restored my Sweptside pickup
