Anyone remember when they tossed a ranger out of an airplane for a commercial,....parachute failed,...said it took on the glidepath characteristics of a sofa,...truck became very short...

Don't remember that but I do remember when a magazine, I think it was a bike mag, took an old Honda CB360 or something up a few thousand feet and tossed it out to see how fast it would free fell....if I remember right they did a center fold shot of it right at impact....So what is terminal velocity anyway....
