How many is too many?
My sister-in law needs help with either repair or an engine swap on her 2002 Outback. I have found several decent buys on engines for less that what one shop quoted her for one head, water pump and timing chain. $2900 seems a bit much when I can get a reman or fresh engine for almost half that. Any of you that know of a reputable shop in the area please PM me with info.
