console chrome restoration

in round numbers, what would it cost to have the top plates on a center console re-plated,, Mine is all silver finish, no wood grain.
and to restore these, would it be electro stripped and electro plated or are these vacume plated?

any recommended sources?

Guessing, based on other small parts I`ve had chromed I would say about $300.00-400.00 for the two large pieces.

ya your better off buying them new, if your old ones are pitted and had to be filled it would cost a lot more

Had mine re-plated and it was around $300. Depends on shape, any pitting and the guy that did mine asks that you remove any of the paint.
