Console shift indicator light ground

Putting the center console back in my 72 Demon that has been apart for a while.
Anybody have any idea on the routing of wires for the shift indicator light and the ground location? The orange wire is the light and black wire is obviously the ground but can't seem to figure out where it attaches. Thanks in advance
 
On a 69 the black is grounded behind the right kick panel to the body structure.
 
Thanks. never thought about that. That would explain the long wire. I will check it out. THANKS

Cool, that was undisturbed from the factory.

The Orange/Black harness was taped down below the carpet underlayment to the floor pan with the same black masking tape used on the lower edge of the door vapor seals. Some of it was coated in the black mastic used underneath on the seam seals. You can see the factory wire marker/part number close to the end of the harness.
