I need a new shifter button and spring. Does anyone know who sells them without having to buy the actual shifter knob? My knob is in good shape, but I am missing the spring and the button has seen better days....thanks

I bought the spring and button from BE&A/PG Classic at the Nationals.
The guy at the booth tried to sell me the knob, but mine was/is in good shape.

I just checked my catalog and PG Classic has them 367-mbut or 367-but, no spring though. If you contact BE&A with that number they should be able to get it for you also, and maybe the spring.

try ace hardware, they have a good selection of springs, the orig are app 2" long, take your knob in with you

I ordered the button from PG classic. They would not sell the spring seperate from the shifter knob, so I will look on ebay or try hardware store...thanks....

Wasn't laughing at your McGyvering :), just the way it sounded when I first read (red) it. I'm the guy who sat on the floor at our local hardware store with parts all over the place designing a custom puller to help me remove a frozen rear hub..
