anyone know if upper arms 67-72 be modified to hold later 73 up ball joints as to adapt later disc brake setup are the arms not the same the parts house list the same bushing, and it appears there is about 1/8 diff in screw in of ball joint, bigger later small early.

Not that I know of nor would I. I find suspension parts to be to critical to mess around with modding drasticly. I also believe that their is a difference in geometry from the 72 and older to the 73 and newer but I am not absolutly certain on that and I don't have any 72 or older uppers to compare. I do have a set of 73 A body upper control arms for sale if your in need.

Generally people just use the later upper arms when fitting the 73-up disk brakes.
