converter ID

I recently picked up a 360, pretty much unknown history, had been in a Ramcharger/ pickup.

It has ONLY the torque converter, no Torqueflite. I'm guessing late '70's --early 80's vehicle. LA engine/ heads

HOW do I tell if this converter fits a 904 or 727?

The o.d. of the converter snout on a 727 is approx. 1-7/8". I don't know the size of a 904 converter (don't have one or I'd measure it too) but I know it's quite a bit smaller.
