Convertible lift cylinder rebuild

Dose anyone know how to take apart a convertible lift cylinder? the left side of my 65 dart leaks at the top, I guess the seal is bad and would like to repair it, rather than to buy a replacement!

I have the same problem. Did you figure out?

They are not repairable unless you can get the proper tools to re-crimp. You will likely destroy it taking it apart anyway.
