I have a 72 duster v8 with a 904 trans behind it , im changing from a 7, 25 differential to an 8.75 differential .
Do I need to shorten the driveshaft? If so by how much ?

Thank you Tony

Yes it has to be shortened. I THINK it is about 1.5", but it's been so long since I have done it, I am not 100% sure, but it does have to be shortened.

Using the numbers on the "C" chart below it comes up that it needs to be 2.26 inches shorter.
