Converting Scamp Grille To A Dart Grille

I am looking at purchasing a 1971 Scamp and would like to convert the front end to look like a 1971 Dart. Can I just install a Dart grill or will I have to change the header panel, bumper etc? Any help would be appreciated.

You will need hood bumper grille valance fenders. Basically everything that bolts on in front of the doors

He's right. Make sure you get the parts from a '70 or '71. A 2 door or a 4 door has the same parts. Just get the whole front clip and swap it out. Your rear bumper will look the same as a '70 Dart on a '71 Scamp.

Just curious as to why? Look at production numbers for a 1971 Dart and a 1971 Scamp. Go to any car show any day of the week and you're going to see a '70-'72 Dart. How many '71 Scamps are you going to see? I agree with the guys above. It's the exact same car except for front end sheet metal. I just don't know why you would want to take a seldom-seen (maybe even rare?) car and make it look like a run-of-the-mill Dart. Good luck either way.

A Scamp is just a Dart with a Duster front end so just get a Dart front end and bolt it on.
