I have a 1974 dodge dart and the a/c compressor is stuck. The car originally had r-12 freon I would like to change the compressor and convert to r-134a. My question is do i need to change the accumulator and drier as well as all the o-rings and lines. Any helo woudl be appreciated. Also if I do need to change all this stuff any source for securing the parts woudl be helpful

Either Vintage or Classic Auto Air will get you everything you need.

Yes. The old O rings need to be changed as well as the drier and the expansion valve. Some people even go so far as to change the evaporator. Because if there is any left over R12 oil in the system that gets mixed with whatever 134 oil you use (I like PAG) there will be a chemical reaction that ain't pretty. I also like to flush out the condensor. A lot of people don't go to all the trouble, but the cleaner the system is, the better it'll work.
