So recently I pulled the billet convertor out of my car. Had maybe 20 miles on it over the years. Reason I pulled it is I went with a turbo setup and on the dyno it drove right through the convertor. On the street the few times I drove it, the 2-3 shift there was ZERO rpm change. New convertor it’s great and works as it should. My question being if I sell the old convertor should I have it cleaned? Cut open and inspected? It drove around fine just couldn’t hang under boost. I don’t see me ever using it and I’m trying to clean some clutter in the garage so I just thought I’d ask. Thanks in advance.

Sell it as is. Not worth cutting it open and re welding it. Sell it cheap and let the buyer know the deal. Honesty pays.

I have no problem listing that in the ad if I do sell it. Just wasn’t sure if it would be worth it to have a clean bill of health. I appreciate the advice
