My new blower manifold does not have a coolant bypass outlet. I am going to delete the heater so my question is: Can I safely run a piece of hose from one hose bib on the water pump to the other?

I think it would be easier and look cleaner to just take the hose fittings out and put in some plugs.

Either way is safe for the motor.
That would be the ideal way to do it, but these fitting look like they are never going to budge and I don't want to break the pump.
