What fittings are used in the (A727) transmission case for the cooler lines? Looks like 3/8ths NPT to my untrained eye. Also, what is the other end? Imperial flare?

Thanks in advance!

I'll check my ticket from NAPA tomorrow as I just purchased a pair of fittings from them. I'm sure the are 1/8 NPT and a flare on the other. I think they part numbered as a 48-4. Jeff

The 727 has 1/8" pipe going into the trans. and I think the flared end is a 43 degree #5 JIC but I'm not positive. I know it's nearly impossible to find these fittings at a local auto supply. Usually have to go to a large hydraulic supply store to get the right ones. Also note there are at least 2 different angles on JIC flare fittings so make sure you get the right ones.

Wow! Jeff posted that while I ran out to measure the flare angle. Glad to hear NAPA has them now. Last time I tried getting them there they couldn't get them but that has been a few months ago.
