Hi all,
I hope someone will send me pictures of their original attachment screws,(or good description),of the length, thread, and location where they came off their '68 headlight surrounds.

Some of the kits I looked at have pictures that look like they are fine thread, but I don't believe they should be. and they'er in a whole exterior screw kit, and I don't need that.

I've gathered some screws at a local swap meet that look, to me, like they might work, but really need/want what it came from the factory with.

Thanks for any help with this!

I can pull one off my car and send pic/specs tomorrow night, if no one else responds in the meantime.

They are fine thread, 3/4" long, oval head. Head diameter is approx 5/16". Not sure if that's a #6 or #8.
Pulled one from the bottom hole and one from the side hole; both were the same.

Not a problem, that's what's nice about my car.
There is absolutely no question when it comes to originality of parts.
Would've posted sooner, but shock replacement on my 68 Sport Satellite took longer than anticipated.
