What are the part numbers for factory big block engines? I have a set of 3769415/3769420 chrome valve covers collecting dust on the shelf and trying to determine their origin....

Definitely not 67 or 68. Too new looking, no factory brackets. I have no experience with 69.

Look like 70's/80's Direct Connection dress up valve covers. They're based on stock valve covers but like 66fs said they don't have any brackets or looms to make them universal.

Thank you Gentlemen, I have realized that these are the loooong discontinued Direct Connection "tall" valve covers from the old days......

along the same lines...I'm wondering what style (correct) bolts were used with the stock 383 chrome valve covers on my 383 Barracuda. Are they 1/4 dog-point in plain steel, engine color or chrome? thanks!
