CPDD logo

[65ChargerDart]

I've noticed that most of the original parts on my '65 Dodge Dart were stamped with the CPDD logo. I understand why it would still be on parts that were carried over from the early years, but my taillight lens have the logo and I doubt they were being produced in 1962.

Anyone know why the CPDD logo lasted so long after the DeSoto ceased production?

Hell it was still on some power window motors 10 years ago. If they're still using the original molds, they surely aren't going to change the to take off a "d".
