Crack on cowl near a pillar

Is there any factory seam or would there be filler from factory on the wiper cowl near where the a pillar meets on the drivers side. Have a crack in the body from windshield going down towards the hood judt inside of the corner of the windshield.

We have one also on a 72. I think that there is a seem there that was leaded. Need to remove the lead and weld some.

My 1970 dart also has a crack there!

Here a picture of the lead seam by the pillar on a 67 barracuda. At the top of the seam it has metal cut out that needed repair. Not sure, but the seam is probably in the same place on all a bodies.

Yes, is this the same location as the crack on your cowl?

Mine was ground off and brazed up. Guess metal was thin as i found cracks,then i fixed it.

Wasnt that big of a deal to fix

This is what i found after cleaning off the filler. Last thing i want is my new paint to crack due to something i didnt do.
