Craig McCaughey's Demon

Craig is an old friend and he’s wondering if anyone has seen his old Demon bracket car. He sold it around 1983 to build a Super Gas '83 Mirada. He raced primarily in Cordova and Byron. This was the last time that he raced it and sold it the next day to a guy from Wisconsin. He thinks his name was John with a nickname of Landau. I guess that he talked to him later and the guy put a Hemi in it and was bending wheelie bars.

Could that be Jim Van Zee's old car? Not many around and Jim is from here in the midwest.

I don't think so.... I think he did his/or had it done. I could be wrong. I didn't know him with the Demon, but heard about it. I knew him in the '80's
