Not mine, but just found on CL this evening, looks like another good deal for a straight and clean looking 74 Road Runner. Can look at for interested party. Drag Car that runs 12's at Bandimere. Says it could easily be a street runner.

Located in Colorado Springs, CO

$7500

...that is really inexpensive...what is wrong with it ?

It's a '74. The engine and go fast goodies probably make up about 80% of the final value. Maybe more. It has 383 on the hood, so if the hood is original its not matching #'s.

A '74 Roadrunner without a drivetrain might not even bring $2k. If you think the value on the '73-76 A bodies is bad, its even worse for the 73-74 B bodies.

Sounds like a good deal if you like the later B bodies.

They never made a 383 74 Road Runner period. 383's were gone after 71. Great price for that car if its as good as the pics show it...

I like the 73-74 B-Bodies.......Great looking car @ a good price IMO :toothy10:

Whoops! Got me on that one, wasn't paying attention #-o Wonder why it has 383 call outs? :dontknow:

I like them too, although I have to say I like the 71-72 B's better. But the market definitely isn't as kind to the 73-74 B's, even the RR's.

I like the 71-72 B-Body cars better too, but have you checked the prices of those lately? You need some deep pockets for even a driver quality 71-72 RR or GTX.

The 73-74s are still somewhat affordable and gaining popularity IMO 8-)

I always liked the 73 74 road runners , had a friend that had a 74 440 road runner GTX auto , and it was changed to 4 speed when it was only 6 months old , but you would never know it .He sold the car few years back with an auto change back , i purchased all the 4 speed stuff everything .Beware of the rear quarters on these though.
